IISHF er orienteret om den danske interesse og vil kunne tage stilling til stævnet når El Diablo har indsendt en officiel ansøgning.
En række schweitziske klubber har også udtrykt interesse for at afholde mesterskabet. Hvis El Diablo får tildelt mesterskabet så vil klubben blive tildelt et wildcard og vil kunne repræsentere Danmark sammen med Cph. Vikings og Vesterbro Starz. |
| Klubkonsulent Skaterhockey Vest |
Danmarks Rulleskøjte Union har ansat Morten Bjelbæk fra Århus som deltidsansat Klubkonsulent Skaterhockey Vest. Den nye klubkonsulent skal støtte turneringsafvikleren i arbejdet med etablering af kontinuerligt stævne og turneringsaktivitet vest for Storebælt indenfor både Skaterhockey og Streethockey.
Arbejdet indebærer også lokalisering og kontakt til nye potentielle medlemsklubber. Det kan være Skaterhockey klubber, som endnu ikke er med i unionen, eller Ishockeyklubberne. Det kan også være klubber, der dyrker hockey uden kropskontakt i form af streethockey. Kort sagt arbejde med at skabe og opretholde en fødekæde for Vestturneringen. Kender du – eller hører om - grupperinger, der spiller rullehockey, så håber vi meget at information videreformidles til Morten.
Det forventes tillige at Klubkonsulenten assisterer ved indsamling af dokumentation til Fordelingsnøglen (kort fortalt er det Fordelingsnøglen, der via DIF videreformidler økonomiske midler fra tipsmidlerne til at drive unionen for. Midler som unionen ellers skulle have opkrævet hos klubberne eller fundet hos sponsorer).
Vi håber således at klubberne vil være den nye klubkonsulent behjælpelig med dokumentation når han henvender sig (dokumentation kan være indbydelser, programmer, resultatlister og lign.)

also in the Year 2010 the ISC Düsseldorf RAMS will hold the RAMS Summer Cup and would like to invite your Senior-Team from 21st to 23rd of May 2010 to Duesseldorf.
Also In this year we will be able to welcome Top-Teams from 7 different European Nations. Beside the main-event we will arrange a Ladies, Old-Stars, Bambini, Pee-Wee and Juniors-Tournament on two equal Indoor-Rinks with over 30 Teams in total. This will make the Summer Cup again biggest Skaterhockey-Event in Europe all over the year 2010!!!
The tournament will start on Friday, 29th of May from 6 p.m. (only for teams from nearby, and those who can make an early Friday arriving – for the other Teams the Tournament starts on Saturday morning). The presentation ceremony along the end of the cup is arranged for Sunday, 23rd of Mai 20010, for around 7 p.m. The fee for all participating teams is 200.-- € (50,-- € will be given back to the team on the last day) and should be transfered to our account before the 1st April 20010 at the latest.

Stillingsopslag Klubkonsulent Skaterhockey Vest
Danmarks Rulleskøjte Union søger en Klubkonsulent Skaterhockey Vest.
Der søges en deltidsansat konsulent, der primært skal arbejde med etablering af stævne og turneringsaktivitet vest for Storebælt indenfor både Skaterhockey og Streethockey.
Herunder lokalisering (netværk, google søgning, søgning på de store medier´s hjemmesider) og kontakt til nye klubber.
Klubkonsulenten skal assistere Turneringsudvalget Vest for Storebælt med at få den netop udsendte indbydelse til vest turneringen spredt bredt ud.
Når Junior DM 2010 udskrives forventes det tillige, at Klubkonsulenten spreder denne indbydelse i ishockeyklubberne.
Det forventes tillige at Klubkonsulenten assisterer ved indsamling af dokumentation til Fordelingsnøglen fra stævne og turneringsaktivitet vest for Storebælt (typisk indbydelse, program og deltagerlister).
Målet for 2010 er, at den nye Klubkonsulent sikrer og videre udvikle den positive tendens vest for Storebælt, der er startet af ildsjæle i klubberne.
Din baggrund er sandsynligvis at du er en markant ildsjæl fra vest miljøet. Du færdes hjemmevant på nettet, og er stærk i både mundtlig og skriftlig kommunikation.
Klubkonsulenten tænkes primært at arbejde hjemmefra via pc og mobil. Der er i 2010 afsat 30.000 kr. Beløbet er et bruttobeløb, der også skal dække eventuel godtgørelse til transport og mobil. Stillingen forventes videreført i 2011, eventuelt med større budget.
Arbejdet sker i et tæt samarbejde med – og støtte fra - unionens nuværende Udviklingskonsulent.

| Mestre i Tyskland, England og Schweiz |
Mesterskaberne i Tyskland, England og Schweiz for herreklubhold er blevet afgjort.
I Tyskland vandt HC Køln West over Duisburg Ducks. Finalen blev spillet bedst af 3 kampe og alle kampene var meget tætte. I den sidste kamp lørdag den 5. december 2009 vandt HC Køln West med 7-6 efter at Duisburg Ducks havde ført med 6-4 midt i 3. periode.
I England vandt Hallamshire Hornets finalen søndag den 6. december 2009 over Oxford Fong Pei.
I Schweiz vandt SHC Rossemaison finalen over SHC Rolling Aventicum.
Det er endnu ikke nogen som har meldt sig som værter for European Cup for Men i 2010.

Danmark blev nr. 2 ved EM for herrelandshold 2009 som blev afviklet den 23-25 oktober 2009 i Lugano, Schweiz. I finalen tabte Danmark til værterne fra Schweiz med 2-6 (2-1, 0-2, 0-3).
Danmark kom bagud i finalen efter 28 sekunder, men holdt derefter med en stærk defensiv Schweizerne fra at score de næste 28 minutter i finalen som blev spillet 3x20 minutter.
Danmark kom foran 2-1 i 1. periode via 2 danske powerplay mål først til 1-1 ved Robin Stilling samt 2-1 ved Oliver Sommer. Herefter så det godt ud og Danmark kunne have lukket finalen ved et par store chancer, men det afgørende held udeblev og den schweitziske målmand Stéphane Lambelet stod en fremragende kamp.
Efter at Schweiz udlignede til 2-2 var det et stort pres på det danske mål resten af kampen. Schweiz kom foran 4-2 efter 46 minutter.
Danmark som kun have en enkelt udvisning i en meget fair spillet finalekamp fik 2 chancer for at bringe sig tilbage i kampen men til sidst magtede det ellers stærke danske powerplay ikke at udnytte mulighederne.
Schweiz kunne dermed fortjent vinde finalen og det endelige resultat blev 6-2 da Danmark til sidst tog målmanden Mads Nielsen ud og Schweiz kunne score 2 gange i tomt mål.
Men alt i alt en fremragende dansk indsats turneringen igennem med et stærkt hold og en god holdindsats. Spillerne og landstræneren Anders Reimer har allerede nu sagt, at Danmark til næste år i 2010 vil gøre sit bedste for at stillle op med et endnu stærkere dansk landshold i skaterhockey og med endnu mere fokus på landsholdsarbejdet.
I semfinalen vandt Danmark fortjent med 6-4 (4-3, 2-1) over Tyskland efter at være bagud med såvel 0-1 samt 1-2. 3 danske powerplay mål og en stærk dansk defensiv. Det tyske landshold præsterede at spille deres sidste 5 kampe ved EM uden at vinde en eneste kamp en uhørt situation i international skaterhockey som fortæller noget om hvor jævnbyrdigt dette års EM var.
Danmark fik ikke nogen spillere på All Star holdet som bestod af James Tanner, England (målmand) samt udespillere Simon Artz, Marcel Mörsch og Lukas Fettinger alle fra Tyskland og Emmanuel Weiss fra Schweiz.
På turneringens topscoreliste tog Danmark de 2 første pladser med Oliver Sommer som nr. 1 med 22 point (10 mål, 12 assists) samt Robin Stilling som nr. 2 med 20 point (16 mål og 4 assists).
Danmark havde i alt 5 spillere på Top10 listen incl. Michael Bennedsen med 12 point (6 mål og 6 assists), Michael Lauritzen med 12 point (4 mål og 8 assists) samt Rasmus Nielsen med 11 point (8 mål og 3 assists).

Efter de to første spilledage var topscorelisten således at der var 5 danske spillere på top 10 inklusive 1. og 2.pladsen, men vi må vente til i morgen med navnene på disse spilleres endelige placering. Dog kan jeg nævne at Sommer, Stilling, Nielsen, Bennedsen og Lauritzen er de 5 spillere. Virkelig flot drenge.
På grund af Danmarks flotte finaleplads får Danmark en ekstra plads ved næste års Europacup (skaterhockeyens champions leauge). Det betyder at ud over at Vesterbro kan tage afsted som mester får Copenhagen Vikings også en plads som Danmarks sølvvindere.
Danmark og Copenhagen Vikings kan dermed fortsætte sin flotte rekord ved at deltage ved samtlige Europa cups i næsten 1½ årti. En virkelig flot sportspræstation som er værd at tage med på pokalhylden.
